MOTIVATING READING COMPREHENSION CONCEPT-ORIENTED READING INSTRUCTION

One of the aims of this book is to provide an extended description of the instructional context of Concept-Oriented Reading Instruction (CORI). Previous publications on this instructional framework have appeared in journals devoted to reporting empirical findings and book chapters in which the principles of CORI are outlined. However, neither of those publishing outlets allows the depth of depiction that is necessary to fully understand the principles and practices of CORI.
