Let me begin by saying that, in the spirit of embracing new adventures, in 2007 I moved with my family to Chicago. The chance to choose a new home at this stage of my life and career was a direct result of taking the Massive Change project to Chicago. To say we were astounded by the engagement we experienced there would be an understatement. From local school boards right up to the mayor’s office, we saw a willingness to truly take on some of the great issues we are facing on our planet and to explore how we can use design methods and practices to tackle these challenges.
